Finally got my car back

So I finally got my car back after they replaced the Tranny. They called me at 8.45 to let me know it was done. I picked it up at 9.00AM. I pay, start it off and leave. 30 seconds after leaving the parking lot the CEL comes on. Well ****. Dumb Asses probably flashed it with the stock flash... I figure it is a Too Lean code and continue on my way. I get out to a country road and decide to open this bitch up! I've been with out my car for 2 WEEKS! Fly through 2nd gear... Shift to third and at around 5000rpm... it just shuts down. REDUCED ENG PWR flashes in the info bar. Limp Mode. Won't boost past 10 in the vacuum... but won't drop below 10 either... push the gas and nothing happens. So I turn it off wait 5 minutes and start it back up... works fine. So I take it back... and that's where it is now. 2 weeks without it... 20 minutes with it... and still waiting to hear back. I did a code read and it said something like Manufacture MAF Air/Fuel meter and Something else. Damn them. Fucked by The Man again. Hopefully, I will have it back by my lunch break!

My guess is that they didn't plug something in... SOMETHING had to have been missed. When it went in to Limp Mode I could hear what sounded like the Fuel Pump popping.. pop pop pop pop... like that. I wonder if something got screwed up from it sitting for those 2 weeks... oh well. I'm about to call them.

Soooooooo... I just called them to see if they found anything out..... haven't even pulled it into the shop! That makes me feel good after dropping $2600 on it, really shows me how I rate on the Customer Scale.

My dealer does the same thing. Dropped it off one morning to get a reflash. Service manager said i can wait for it since it'll be done in about 30 minutes or get a ride to work.

I called 4 hours later and they hadn't even touched it!

The guy that worked on it is evidentially a god with transmissions and is very **** retentive. So they are unsure what could have gone wrong. We'll find out in due time. All I know, is i better get my ******* car back TODAY!

its post like these that really makes me worry about getting stage 2 and having the dealer put it on. The only reason I would have them put it on is because i head if you do it ur self ur warranty becomes shorter

Now they've had it for 5 hours. No status report... nothing. This should have been a fairly simple/quick fix. I'm starting to seriously get pissed off. I'm usually a fairly calm guy. I was thinking about just having them put in my Pistons because they usually give me really great pricing (Tranny work should have cost $3000, I got it for $2600)... but if little things like this are being screwed up, i don't know if I can trust them.

Service manager Dropped it off where I work. The Sensor at the intake of the S/C was Cracked. They replaced it, and he brought it out to me... thank god. I'm so relieved now.
