fuel problem i think ???? help
i have a 2005 ss/sc with the intense stage 3. when i am accelerating the car acts like it is not getting enough fuel it stumbles for a bit and if i floor it it stumbles for a second then takes off like a bat out of hell, is it a fuel starvation problem or what???, i have heard some people say that the 42 pound injectors are not enough that i need 60 pound injectors but 42's came with the kit.
i would definitely bump up to the 60'sa to safely run at WOT.
For your issue is it when you floor it cause it actually sounds like you might be dumping way to much fuel in right at the beginning of the curve, i could be wrong

yea i have heard people say 60's are better, and i can gradually get on the gas and it stumbles as well, intense says this kit posts 15 psi boost, but i am getting like 17, or 18 psi so i think i do need the 60 pounders, just needed reasureing i guess, thanks
no i dont think it is clutch slip, and my cat was just replaced 4 months ago under warrenty, come to think of it i only really notice it when it is real cold outside, when the temp is like 50's or 60's it dosent do it, and i read somewhere on here of someone elses doing this in cold weather i think, i dont know though
you could be getting detonation and your car is retarding timing...
You would have to run a diag to tell. Find someone with a scanner that can datastream(like EDIS or MODIS scanner) and do a run or two with it hooked up and look for knock.
If you think your injectors are too small then you can check that as well while running the diag. look for your injectors to open for longer than 80ms or so. I'd say anything under 60 is fine.
