Funny smell

Hello, i have an 06 SS/SC and whenever I get on the gas and get up there in the boost (8-14psi) there is a funny smell that appears to be coming from my car. I just had the clutch replaced about 3,500 miles ago.

Any ideas?

Oh, and I have a ZZP CAI and Magnaflow exhaust if that makes a difference.

Noo, thats not it. Its like its coming from the blower, or the engine. I need an oil change. Is that it?

Thats almost it actually. Like something is burning almost? Should I get the blower oil changed too?

And I might as well ask while I'm at it. I want to swtich to synthetic oil. What brand should I get/is recommended for these cars?

Why would you put something else in when it says right on the cap use ONLY Mobil 1 Full Synthetic?
