Why don't you blame the dealer? They broke your car.

So, I put a new Exedy Stg 1 clutch n throw out bearing, AC Delco clutch master cylinder and found a nice used F23 trans off ebay. Their GM rep listens to the lying dealer about it all, case is getting back open soon as I call them with proof of the old locked up trans in my driveway.

Now I'm dealing with losing clutch pedal while driving at normal operating speeds, ( I've bled the crap out of it!) stop at a light or sign and wont go back into gear except for maybe 3rd on occasions and 5th if I'm lucky. I didnt know better while swaping trans to switch out the sensors and also, I didn't have the torx socket, at the time, to take the bolt loose for the bracket for the cables, so I was turning the plastic nuts beneath the bracket, could this be my issue, trans shifts perfectly with engine off! Thanks in advance guys, really need to figure this out asap.
I would think snycros but hard to say for sure.
Even with syncros bad it would still shift just fine if the car is stationary and the engine is off.
I don't really see how a clutch could really make it only shift in some gears and not others.
But the best of my understanding the Tranny has a seperate syncro for each gear.

help!! clutch/ gear issue

Hi I'm new to this forum and just bought a 2006 cobalt ss/sc....I bought it from some guy so it was a private sale meaning there's really no lemon law so I coulsnt return it.and he didn't want to give me the money back..long story short the day I bought it I was driving it home and within 20 minutes of driving it the clutch pressure seemed to drop a lot and only hooked up when it was very close to the ground..then it was very hard to get into gears..now when the cars cold it shifts smooth but the clutch hooks up near the ground and once is warm it doesn't go into gear please help me resolve this issue thanks!!

I think you should make your own thread instead of thread jacking

This is why you inspect it before you bought it. It wouldn't have mattered if it was a dealer either.
