ok so heres the deal, I ordered the stage 2 through the dealer in florida and when they called and told me it came in i brought the car and had them install it, i never saw the kit. They installed everything but They didnt calibrate my my pcm so i was running like ****. Problem is i didnt notice i was running like **** until my bro said somthing about me idleing so hard when i was In Delaware
Somehow i made it home without blowing up my engine. I did about 60 all the way home. I got completely rooked because i didnt get anything back ether. Im not sure if you get parts back or ur code to tune it or not. Doesnt matter cause i didnt get anything anyway.
So i called the dealer in florida, im In Delaware. They just basicly said they were sorry a bunch of times pretty much telling i was SOL.
So i looked into HP tuners and intense, and was hard for cash at the time so i went with intense. Im running a crap load better when i put the pcm on but still insainly rich. Ive posted before about it and stunded people by the amount of carbon coming out of my exaust. When i punch it i get a crap load of pretty dark exaust indicating im and way way way rich. So i told Intense about and they blamed it on my intake, that the air flow was disrupting the pcm.... total crap. They didnt do anything for me
So what im gana try to do is call gm and tell them what happened with the dealer and see if i can get anything done about my issue. I just afraid its was to long ago. But im gana threaten to return the car if they dont do anything. But im not really going to return the car ill just have to buy hp tuners. 500 dollers i dont have

 

If you are talking about a GM stage kit, the reflash is part of what you paid for. You are not SOL. Take your reciept, go to a dealer, get it right.

 

i already thought of that. Nothing alls i have is a work order. I have the statement from my card, dont think it wil do much good

 

a work order stating "GMPP Stage 2" or something of those lines INCLUDES the reflash.

 

I think you should go to your closest dealer and tell them your problem. If they are a good dealer they will call gm and then gm will send the software to them. I have seen something like this before(with tire sizes). Im in california or I would help you out.

I think if you go to another dealer using your vin and doing a service history he will know
if you got the stage 2 reflash and with your reciept for the stage 2 install you should be able to get them to honor it.
