GMPP tip dont fit right

i just put on the gmpp cat back and tip. the tip will not fit in the whole on the cut out of my g5. its about a cm off and its melting my lip. any idea on how to make the tip fit in the cut out so it dont melt my lip. im not driveing the car till i get the fixed. i just saw it was doing that today and the mufflers been on for 3 days. any ideas? ill post pics in a min

yea and the gmpp tip have the pontiac logo on it also

Check and make sure that were the exhaust clamps together that the pipes are seated all the way into each other . If they arent it makes the exhaust a bit longer and the hangers will pull the tip up . If thats not it check the hangers and make sure ones not bent .

yea im going to look at it this weekened till then ill just leave it in the garage. if i cant get it straight ill just take it to the exhaust shop and see what they can do. then get some paint for where the lip got hit and fix that.

i took it to the exhaust shop today and they moved the muffler around and got it in the right spot. so now it looks perfect. the owner didnt charge me anything so the guy that worked on it for the 10min It was there i gave him $20 and thanked him. next wed i get it dynoed i did it stock it did 153whp and 151 wtrq now with the gmpp cat back and gmpp intake we will see what it did.
