Got Extended Warranty For Free!!1

I had been having porblems with my car latlely been towed 3 times in the last few months, SOooo i called gm service and said waht had happened and that i dont want the car and i want them to buy it back bla bla bla seeing what i could make happen. The lady handling my case was very helpful said she would review my file and a week later called me and said that she could offer me a extra 48k 48 month warranty on all electricons powertrain and suspension so i said **** yeah! Origional warranty was 36k miles or 3 years now its extened to march 2012 or 79500 miles . I little bit of bitching and you could get a lot. Also restored some faith that gm is gonna back there ****. or they know it possibly could be lemmoned and its easier this way but what ever im happy!

well a lot of it ended up being the dealers fault. They fixed the roll pin in the shift linkage and didnt connect some wires back and i kept have issues. SO i brought it back and the kept trying to sell me bs to fix it and so i took it to another dealer and they discovered it was wires that werent connected right when the ******* fixed the tranny!

Has anyone ever bought extended warranty here? Ive been thinking of buying it just in case something ever went wrong. Im only at 20k but warranty is up at 36k so idk is it a good investment?

Like all insurance, it's a risk management strategy. Personally, I say go for as much warranty as you can easily afford.

Yah I got the warranty as well, 1100 bucks for four more years and im sure something will go wrong. The labor rate is getting ridiculous unless you can fix it all yourself. I can fix a lot but not everything and I dont want the hassle most of the time. Thats why I bought a new car because I was sick of getting nickled and dimed just to get to work.

How many miles is the warranty for or is it just 4 more years?
