Got the Infamous P0107 code

So i was at the track. First pass went well, got a 13.4 at 26mph lol (stupid dragway). They were busy as **** and i waited about 2hrs for my next pass. On start up i saw the check engine light go on, went to stage no burnout and proceeded down the track cautiously. had the code read by 06BlackG85ss, he cleared it and then it came back 10 seconds later. Just wondering whats involved to get it to go away lol. Im tuned at 25psi spike but have been for about 3000miles and have pushed it before. Just wondering why it blew now?? Do i just need to replace the sensor?? any ideas would be cool

bumpage

also whats the part number for this sensor?? where can i get another one??

I'd like to bump this thread with my P0107 CEL. For the last 3 years, I've had the F5 intake with zero problems and I just changed my air filter (****** was rusted over and crushed in my hand when I took it off) And I forget to D/C the battery while I was doing it and went to a dinner meet that night. Boosted a bit on some on-ramps and it came on, and been on ever since. About 3 weeks now. I thought it was a small slice in the rubber connection tubing but I just examined the entire intake thoroughly and the slice didn't cut all the way through. Still Gorilla glued it together to be safe. I got the code checked by good old Mikey and it was Bank 2. Is that the sensor right on the snout of the SC? I just cleaned the whole intake inside and out and checked all the connections. If I still get the CEL, would that mean the sensor is shot? All the wires and hoses are flexible and don't seem clogged up. And which sensor do I order from GMPD? Thanks for the info & help!

im guessing u have the GMS1 kit in it and ur wanting the map sensor for that kit.

I have the kit too and got the code a couple of days ago. I installed it myself at work with the crimp connections they give you. A master tech here said those connections could be causeing the problem. So we saudered the wires and havent had the code come back since. Maybe you should try that before buy a new sensor. the car seems to be running fine now

It should be warrenty cause the kit is GM. If it comes back on for me, im gonna have them warrenty me one.
