grind noise

I have this noise at a certain point of rotation in my driver side wheel it kind of sounds like when breaks are going bad but it isnt my breaks it kind of upsets me cus i went to camp and back last weekend and washed my car sunday then monday when i went to work it started making that noise.......... If anyone could help me if they either have had it happen or know what it is i dont want to pay a mechanic just to tell me if its either the bearing or the axle itself any help would be greatly appreciated

Sorry its like a grind or like something is rubbing can actually feel it in the steering wheel but idk how to really explain it but you can hear as im driving and its aleays at the same point in the wheel rotation as if breaks were grinding like if a brake caliper was locked up only in one spot of the full rotation

Maybe a warped rotor dragging on the pad in the warped spot?

Looks like you found the culprit - I'm glad you were able to get this resolved on your own!
