Heater always on

Even if my ducts are closed and A/C turned off i still get a decent amount of air blowing out. Would hard resetting the system do the trick? Thank you much.

shittiest part about this system is that it wont allow recirculate to be on constantly, defroster always pulls in fresh air or its always open when its off

Press the recirculate button with the directional control turned to the left. With it on you shouldn't get any air coming in while driving.

Left is for A/C and will turn on the compressor and radiator fans.
Center is the rear defrost.
Right is the one I'm referring to and will turn on recirculate. This only works if the left knob is set to vent, e.g. not windshield or foot.

My 06 didn't do it, neither does my 09. Just did it, compressor does not turn on unless you put it into windshield defrost or press the A/C button. Think you've got something up with yours if that's the case.

It's basically air getting pushed in from u driving. Wish they would have a way of shutting the vents on the outside completely. I had a truck where that's the only way I got heat is from it being pushed into the cab while driving, fan motor was busted, so I had to freeze till ten minutes into my drive
