Block heater installed.... very clean job!

So, today i had a block heater installed in the SS-SC. I decided to check it out tonight. I must say, it's a very very clean job.
Props to GM and SMP (saskatoon motor products) for a super job.

The whole engine w/ block heater installed... can you find it?

The heater cable

The plug!

And this is why we need block heaters here in Canada.... It's called snow!

looks good. Do you just plug it in the wall like a battery heater or a diesel?

Did you know they charged you for it when you bought it?
They justify it on this car because not many people drive them in the winter.

BTW, it's a wall plug electrical heater. KInd of like what they use at the race tracks to pre-warm the drag engines, just not a powerful.
