Help/advice

Driving home today.. Got low coolant for a second then went away... 10 minutes later temp climbs to 110C so i pull over and shut the car down.. Pop the hood... No visible leaks or splashmarks.. Resevoir is empty.. Now waitig for a tow truck to take it to the dealership.. Any ideas? May check the dip stick for coolant..

if you got low coolant you are either eating it into the cars engine or you are sending it out, so either way it is warranty work. I say its a head gasket issue if you have no leaks... good luck bro

Just checked under valve cover oil fill cap .. definately coolant on it.. Watery beaded substance on cap itself and i doubt condensation builds up in there...

i wish... but because i didn't get any dummy lights or warnings... just my intuition when the temp climbed to 110C i doubt it. car is at dealership now we'll see what they say tomorrow... oil didn't look right to me.. to watery .. as i said moisture on the fill cap... which im not sure is normal. that and what car eats coolant bone dry in two days without having any smoke or visible leaks. :/ checked it two days ago when i got low coolant in driveway on startup... checked overflow and it was down maybe an 1/8 of an inch.. barely below cold line so chaulked it up to car sitting on a bit of an angle and playing with the sensor... guess it wasn't... but car wasn't driving good all day... boosted to 20psi no problem but didn't seem as peppy at times..

could be... we'll see i guess :/ and i better not get any accusations that i beat on my car and caused it... because that's B.S. i have fun with it but don't beat on it 24/7. do regular maintenance at dealership and am very careful about any problems. I even pulled over before i got a warning and a too late light saying my engine was cooked... so we'll see... tow truck driver said he had a coworker with an SS and engine blew... dealer checked computer and said he drove it too hard... spent alot of time at redline... not sure how it's logged in history but i would think only problems showing will initiate a logging of RPM, boost, etc. when the light or problem occurs... but again i'm not sure... was doing roughly 110km/h when i noticed temp climbing so i pulled over before it was too late. Not beating on it or driving it hard at all...

wonder how far back it logs too... even still as i said i don't drive it at redline all day... i may give it getting into traffic once in a while.. but i don't race it all day..besides that the motor was built to take boost so it shouldn't grenade at 36,000km. the only thing i am guilty of is getting on and off the gas in a city drive to get the BPV sound i love but that doesn't require anywhere near redline so i dunno....
