Question Help finding a serious short

My 06 SS/SC has aftermarket LED tail lights which are bulls*t btw and while trying to get my passenger side brake light working I have created a short that causes my park lamp fuse to blow immediately upon starting it up. Been through 3 fuses and can't find a short around either fusebox or a problem with the LED wiring. However, the previous owner has 4 sets of LED lights wired on the interior. That's right. FOUR FREAKING SETS OF LEDS. im not kidding the fuse box is a mess but the wiring in general looks fairly clean. I can't find a short and need to drive this darn thing at night so any help will be appreciated

all i can say bud is grab a multimeter and start reading things out. start at the fuse, and work your way back.

you can also start by disconnecting stuff, but you're going to need to blow fuses in order to do it.. disconnect things one by one until the fuse doesn't blow anymore, but you're still going to need a meter.

btw, was your passenger side brake light disconnected? and then you connected it? it very well could be an internal short inside the light itself. i'd start there.

Thanks. I tested the LED tail light itself on my battery and it worked fine. Removed 4 sets of LED's from the inside of the car along with about 35 feet of wire and couldnt find a short. Then I found where my radio is spliced into a hot wire and replaced the connector and covered with tape. No more blowing fuses! what this had to do with my park lamps I have no freaking idea. Replaced connector at the tail lamp and all my problems solved hopefully permanently!
