Help!! New clutches slipping

My clutch went out and need to be replaced. I bought all new GM parts and had my mechanic swap it all out. The old clucth had broken springs. New GM clutch, new pressure plate and bolts, new slave, resurfaced flywheel, new master cylinder, basically everything. After it was installed I had no engagement of the clucth. 100% slip even at idle. The mechanic believed it to be either a bad slave or PP. To be safe I bought a new stage 2 clutch/PP from south bend and got a new aftermarket slave. Paid the mechanic a 2nd time to do the clutch. Now that the stage 2 is in the car, it is able to get moving but slips a lot. Once in gear it over revs and slips even at very low load... we are stuck in what could be stopping the pressure plate from hold the clutch firmly to the flywheel.
1. There are no leaks anywhere
2. Flywheel was resurfaced by a reputable shop
3. Mechanic seems to know what he is doing
4. Fluids are at proper level
we inspected the new GM parts that I originally bought to replace the broken clutch at it looks like there are no wear marks. It's almost as if something is stopping everything from sandwiching together. Please help. I know someone on here has the answer I need.

Did you measure your flywheel thickness to make sure it is still within spec after being resurfaced?

no. The shop was the one who did the flywheel... what should the thickness be? We will be checking it when we take the trans out again.

iirc the flywheel has zero or near zero space to be resurfaced. The shop has likely taken to much off the flywheel.

I don't know, I just know there isn't much space for a resurface. It's easier to just get a new flywheel

thanks for the input... if anyone has numbers or a spec sheet it would be appreciated.. any recommendations for a flywheel? 09 ss bolt ons and tune. Stock motor, turbo, and fuel system. I dont plan on any more mods so roughly 300whp

Yeah if it was resurfaced I would say that's your issue. How many miles were on the car?

100k
the broken clutch was an aftermarket so I have no idea if it was resurfaced before...

its the distance from the friction surface to the surface where the pressure plate mates that has been known to cause this issue. the "pocket" is too deep for the clutch disk to get pinched properly.

New flywheel that is within spec. I suppose theoretically you could grind down the flywheel surface where the pressure plate mounts the equivalent amount but I don't know what kind of other problems that could cause even when assuming the surface finishes to be perfectly parallel and flywheel balanced.

do you happen to know what the spec is?
