HELP!!!!!!!! Reset timing and car is cranking but not turning over.

I reset the timing on the car according to spec and the car started and ran for 5 minutes and died. Went to restart is again and it just cranks. Sputters out the exhaust but won't start. What could this be? I have absolutely no idea what it could be. 😔

I know the LSJ is really picky to mechanical timing. If it's not perfect the ignition won't fire. Been a long time since I've tackled that issue, but double check your work and make sure it's really up to spec.

You probably jumped timing. Chances are you didnt have it times properly or did not set the tensioner properly if that was the only thing you did. Did you do anything else

Reason for "resetting" timing?

If you're going that far aren't you best off replacing wear items?

you need to supply more info... i asked questions and you did not answer them all.... if all you did was cams you probably jumped timing or something came unplugged.

have you checked for codes?
