supercharged cobalt

ok so I been having boost issues and I thought it was my sc but its my bypass valve I took the line going to the manifold and connected it straight to the sc i was getting 3 psi now im getting 15 psi so i figured my bypass valve is busted idn if im correct still but it drives extreamely better i plan on getting a new bypass valve off zzp

can someone tell me what can happen if i run my car like this think about your bypass valve hose off and only the manifold hose to to sc are connected i bet my check engine light is on but gues what the previous owner cover the check engine light indicator so it doesn't show a light booom so i don't have to see a annoying ass light lol damnnnnnnnn so let me no what i could be looking at i no i could blow my sc i don't rag my car asi have had nothing but car trouble in my life dew to shtty previous owners
