High IAT2 on friends TVS

My friend has a TVS stock pulley and the IAT2s climb much faster than my m62 wth a 2.7in pulley.
We both have identical cooling mods: Option B, DualPass, ZZP H/E.
During a 2-3 pull my IAT2s usually go from 105-125. His will go from 105-130, and then heat up to 135 after letting off gas.

I did the install for the dual-pass and option B on both cars, both are bleeding correctly.

His TVS setup makes about 20-21psi and my m62 2.7 setup makes 15-16psi. My exhaust flows better.

If u think they are bled correctly... check is intercooler pump.

My money is on a bad pump or trapped air.

Give the pump a tap with a rubber mallet and feel the lines for moving coolant.

Very true.. .good catch. I forgot this is a TVS vs a M62.

Although the TVS is more efficient, it's moving more air than that 2.7 M62.

Exactly, when I see IAT2 below 140 i'm super happy, i'm not even talking about WOT pulls. I only get worried when I see 170+, that usually means the pump is out and it will go over 200 on a pull if so.

That's what I was thinking, just read so many posts about people saying the TVS is "way cooler", my car is also a ion redline, it's possible that could make a difference on airflow over the stock HE since there's more room in front of it.

His TVS is on 93, and timing hates high IAT2s on his car.
