how the heck do u remove the oil cap raiser...



it's annoying, and kinda looks lame hhah


i've tried to twist it off , but it doesnt move so is there something i'm missing...

 

it twists off. your either going the wrong way or you need to hit the gym lol

turn and pull. if it's been on there a while, it's prolly stuck rather well.

 

With it warm -- not hot -- pull up and forward (toward the front of the car). It will pop out. Use some "elbow" grease

You cannot twist it off -- it has a clip that locks it in place.

 

It is on there pretty snug, but it will pull off.

FYI, you may want to wear gloves... I almost ripped my fingernail off yanking mine.

it does, it'll look better when i get my engine caps set from cobalt-addiction.. IF i ever get them, i ordered them over 2 months ago and the guy's told me he was shipping them like 4 times now and then it was they got robbed so that was a set back.. (note if he shipped my items when he said he was, it wouldnt of been any set back)

and now supposably the colors dont all match so he has to get them fixed... by-far worst site i've experienced in my 4 years of modding cars !

 

I'm definitely going to do this.

I totally forgot about it.
