How To Run Seafoam On Cobalt..

Hey guys,

Looking for a how-to (either visual or discriptive) on how to run Seafoam on a Cobalt. Personally, I'm looking for it on a 2.4, which would obviously be the same as it on a 2.2. However possibly different than the 2.0's.. A friend of mine ran it through my Olds, but it seemed a little easier running it through a carb..

So.. Anyone??

Thanks!!

I did a search. KTHX. All I got was a video blowing a ton of smoke.

But yes, I forgot about the oil change thing.. But for the vacuum line, you'd essentially just pull the vacuum line off the intake, and dump some into the motor? Or where exactly would that be?

A dick post should not be made under 25 posts. I know it's on the can, *******. I wanted a video for the specific car if possible.

Yea hatrickstu made a how-to on seafoaming the ss/sc a while ago, this and the directions on the can should help out a lot, and instead of revving the **** out of it, just take it out for a spirited drive, accomplishes the same thing, high reving to get all the **** pumping through the internals, fuel system, etc and cleaing out all the carbon build up

https://www.cobaltss.net/forums/how-...-ss-sc-111878/

theres the how-to, should be similar to your application, 1/3 in the gas tank, 1/3 in the oil, 1/3 in the vaccum line; thats the basics, details are in the how-to

In that how-to video, you want to do it to the one closest to the firewall, to the left of the blue capped thing, right? Exactly where his finger is pointing? Just pull that off, drizzle the stuff in, etc?

So pull it out and dump it in on the manifold side or the brake booster / firewall side?

u want to poor it in the tube, so it sucks the stuff in. if u try to poor it in the intake manifold nipple u would spill it every where. if u cant find the end of the hose, grab a 3/4 hose push it on the nipple so it suck in air, then poor in threw that hose. then once done with that, just remove that hose and put your stock hose back on.
