ok so after about a hour of looking over my sc because of this no boost problem all gaskets are good the rotors are fine the butterfly valve is good vacuum lines are good new belt and tensioner are good. i zip tied the butter fly valve shut and i got boost with no problems so i know the sc and belt is good i bought a new boost solenoid and tried another actuator but nothing changed.
It would sometimes build no boost or at most 5 psi. is their any way to test the boost solenoid ? I also noticed on the 3 hr drive i just had with the car some times if i would mash the pedal and it would not build boost other times i would get 5 psi instantly and sometimes if i held it while when it wasn't building boost for like 30 second all of sudden the car would have boost to 5psi and you could feel it so I'm thinking that solenoid might be it

any advice on how to check the solenoid or the actuator would be great thanks
