the pump doesnt turn on but if i crawl under my car and mess with the wires that lead into the pump it kicks on is that the pump its self?

 

if u just touching the wires and not tapping the pump then it sounds like wires are bad, if ur tapping the pump also then pump is prolly bad as well. Just get some new wires and replace them and see if pump works correct, if it dont then get new pump from ottp/zzp or anywhere else for around 100 to 110 and u should be golden.

 

Inspect the wiring. Make sure the plug is seated good. Most likely not the pumps fault.
