IC Pump Tips?
Mine was out for several months. I think since November something. But because of the colder winter weather, I just let it go for a while. I took it easy and didnt run my car hard. The engine didn't make any sound diffrent. The pump at the dealership is like 550 bux, but ZZP sells it for 107 I think. The Hardest part is getting the factory clamp off the hose. Other then that, it's fairly easy to change. of course I had access to a lift so I didnt have to lay on my back under a jackstand either.
I do reccomend this job to do yourself. Get some new clamps first though. And some new coolant. I was suprised how little drained out though. Id like to get that kit some one mentioned so that I can redo the brushes in my pump. Then I'll have a spare for next time it goes out.
