Idle Problem

Car was driving fine and then I stopped at a red light. Car began to rev on its on continously and boost pressure kept rising as well. When the light turned green I tried to drive it but it continued doing it so I pulled over and shut off the car. After a few minutes I turned the car back on but it still kept doing it and this time the car just died. My dad came and drove the car home luckily it wasn't to far but the whole time he was driving it just kept revving over and over again by itself. Any help?? Car is a 2007 SS/SC.

Gotcha. Unless it's something that is not throwing a code I don't have a check engine light

Update to this: I began today by trying to take out my CAI and to my surprise a part of intake actually fell off! The section near the bottom that the filter and what I believe is the MAF are connected to was not even attached. So I took the filter off to clean it and now I'm waiting for it to dry. Tomorrow I'm going to try and hook everything back up and hopefully this fixes my problem!
