Hey everyone new to the forum but have been lookimg around here for a while! Anyways just bought an 07 cobalt ss a few moths back. My problem is my chimes work when I lock my doors and warning on the dash but wont with the key in the ignition and the car off. Another problem is when i start the car then turn it off, put the key back in the ignition and turn it in the on position I can push my clutch in and it will start without me turing the key to the start position....just baffles me because i know its not right. The very last problem I have is my accesory position doesnt work either. So could the be a bad ignition switch???

 

Call the dealer and see if youve had the recalls done. If not Id start there.
