i burned out today. and tonight i got on the freeway and it grinds going into 5th. i'm pretty sure its the synchros(sp?). is that a warranty thing? its an 06 with 17k miles. thanks much!

it may not be relative, but thats all i did today that might be relative to the transmission.

it was a 2000 something. not the supercharged beast ones. and i also raced a 330i or something, smoked that one. haha.

 

an item should only void your warranty if it was a direct cause to it failing.

 

Make sure there isn't any rubber in the wheel wells ....and that the front tires aren't bald compared to the back ones....and you should be fine. If your bumper to bumper is up it should fall into the 5/60K powertrain warranty.

 

the dealer here is pretty cool about the warranty also. but i could just put that air box back on. . .

i planned on washing it before taking it in also haha. the tires are the stock pirelli's and its got 17k on it. they're in really good condition.

so it was an e46? i came within two cars of an e46 and he had 3 passengers, i'm just curious how you beat one.

 

i guess thats what it was? idk. i know the kid from college, but not well. it was from a roll too. both of us just had us in the car lol. the only responses anyone can really have from here on are kinda S*** talking. and i'm not down for that, i just need help with my car lol. i also kept on that Mach1's quarter from a 40 roll up to like 120. i was stoked about that, i know that kid too, he can freaking drive!

 

im not talking **** dude, im one of the last people to do that about races, anything can happen. im just on a mission to beat that m3 so im stoked to see that it can be done
