im having electrical problems.. need help
Well its started off when i was just driving, my security light comes on and then my gauges would stop working and just bounce up here and there, my radio will cut out when the gauges drop, my dash says i have no fuel and no power steering which i do lose. i used to just turn off my car at a light, let it sit for a little bit, then start it back up and its fine... but now my car is having trouble starting, it wont even click or turn over from a few trys, then it eventually turns on. and now i hav eno power steering off the get go or anything.. i have checked my battery and alternator and both are fine... i have also taken it to the dealership once a few months ago for same issue and they couldnt figure out what was wrong... any ideas?
check for chaffing wires around the pcm area. they like to rub on the purge solenoid bracket as well as the ac line along there. I've seen cars benefit from removing the pcm connectors, blowing them clean and installing some dielectric grease on the connections also.
When your radio drops out does it reset (no power)or just go static.
Check this ground to make sure its tight,
G201-(CKT 1051) Behind the left side of the I/P to the right of the steering column
Also check your fuses are tight in the bcm and fusebox under the hood.

How olds the car could be a ignition failure, next time the car wont click try turning the key slow and stopping when you hear the car starting.
Do you have alot of weight on your key chain?

I had this issue back when I fist had my o5 Sssc in between the motor and the fuse box the PCM wires wore them self out and where chaffing and shorted out. I got a hole new wire harness under warranty. Soon as I got the car back I invested in upper and lower poly mounts problem solved for me
