Intake water & MAF???
Guys,
I have a 2005 Cobalt SS/SC and I have the fujita intake. I had many problems in the past with the intake sucking water and blowing the MAF. I did some adjustments to the intake as I cut the bottom till the intake stop at 3" dia instead of going to 3.5" Dia so it raised the intake from the bottom of the splash shield. I also ran a heat shield filter thats only open from the bottom. The car has been running fine for awhile then tonight with all the rain in Southern Ontario I was in Niagara Falls and the car must have suck'd a bit of water and now the MAF is gone again If I dry the MAF out can you use it again?? Is there any spray to dry it out? Or do I have to buy a new one? Also is there any other intakes that don't cause this problem (ie: RAW intake, K&N, Injen etc...) please if you have any ideas on this problem I would be happy to hear them....Thanx for the help
