So i just recently purchased a Balt SS S/C, saturday actually. It threw a CEL over the weekend. P0496 high purge flow. I replaced the purge solenoid today before work and nothing has changed.

When i go to start the car, turn the key in the ACC position and the pump in priming, the pump makes a very distinct sound. It sounds like its trying to pump and resetting itself? Im not totally sure. It definitely doesnt sound normal. also, once the car is on, it has a constant whining sound, almost like a speaker whine (its obviously not the speakers). I cant seem to find the information im looking for on here. Can anyone help?
