Just asked this in the LSJ tech forums, but will ask here too. I just got the stage 2 kit installed by a local dealer...took the car off the lot and a few miles down the road decided to get on it.....I thought the redline was supposed to be increased to 7000, but at 6500 it's hitting the rev limiter...wtf, is this right?

 

I had stage two installed on my car and it was set at 6500 also.I think they did a revision on the calibration to lower the limiter for warrenty reasons.Mines a 2006 btw.Dont know the date they changed it but I had Area57 confirm it and it was set to 6500 after dealer install.You can have somone with HPT bump it up.

 

I remember hearing about this back in the day, and feel that lowering the rev limiter takes away from some of the usefulness of the kit. The 7k limiter helps to keep you in your powerband better during wot shifts. I hope they compensated for lowering the limiter, and made the tune better. If not I feel bad for ya man.
