well i just got my car's engine rebuilt after 5 months of hardship on thursday. now after i got it back, i went and installed my ss front bumper on it and took off the side moldings. u may have seen my thread earlier.

well i've been putsing around town and havent gotton on it at all ok. im dead serious too. not above 4k. im going along at 40ish getting up to 45 on indianwood road in between baldwin and josyln. all of the sudden....

: what was that? well i look down at my rpm guage and guess what? 0 rpms?!!?! my car died. i try to turn it on and it doesnt want to. now my speedo is like going crazy cause its trying to start but its not. and i lost power steering obviously. so i pull into a parking lot and look at it, seems normal. it sparks, etc sounds weird.

BUT GET THIS.

the dealer told me that my car is fixed but not done..................turns out my cat is bad. and they ordered a new one but the one i have on now should be fine until i get it back next week. so they send me on my way with a clogged cat.

putting 2 and 2 together i get 4......... ..........no, so i say "hey maybe my cat is clogged so that im not getting anything" and we unbolt the downpipe..................no luck................. and i shoot flames from the header which is a sign that says, somethings not right here.

so i called tim, asked him a HUGE FAVOR (thanks tim, i owe u one) O AND MATT THANKS FOR THE RIDE HOME and asked him to come look at my car. he comes about an hour later and looks at what i try to do. "timeing chains off"..................the dealer put the car together wrong.......................why am i not surprised.................

from what dealer, so i dont take mine there...sorry to hear that bro

 

should let it and let the mother ****** burn to the ground and tell the dealership you could not get it started and it caught on fire then you can get a new car

Point of Failure: pulled cylinder head and found #1 exhaust lifter came apart, rocker arm is off, both #2 exhaust valves came apart and rockers off, #4 exhaust lifter came apart and rocker is off, rocker arms scored into cam shaft, cylinder head scored
List of Parts Damaged: cylinder head , cam shaft x 2 , rocker arms x 16, timing chain kit, valve adjusters x 16
labor time: 10.7 hrs


now it could be a lot worse
