Little Help Needed jacking up the car

Ok so i have a sedan, i am cleaning the wheels and would like to have the car sitting on stands. I have the back all jacked up on stands but i do not know where to put the 2-ton jack to jack up the front. There is no noticable axle like the back. Just want to make sure i put it in the right place before it goes boom :P please let me know

There is a crossmember in front of the engine you can use.

There are two jack points on either side of the front, that is the recommended way to do it. In the back you should NEVER jack on that cross brace. Watch it bend when the car gets higher. Lol.

Play safe......invest in ramps. Not that expensive and they won't fail when your under the car. (Also do it on flat ground and block the wheels that aren't on the ramps.)

well when i need to rotate... ramps dont let wheels be free. ramps good for oil changes? leave it on the ramps let oil drain and such. I plan on rotating my own tires and oil changes after my warrenty is up.

Kinda hard to use ramps when you need the wheels off of the car.

You can either follow the manual and jack from the pinch rails or use the front crossmember for the front and pinch rails for the rear. I wouldn't jack under the rear suspension beam.

Make sure that you are setting the jackstands under the pinch rails where the notch is and it is doubled up. It will bend if you just put it anywhere along the pinch rail. I put two jack stands under the front crossmember and two under the rear part of the pinch rails.

Anybody else notice the little arrow indentations on the lower rocker panel extensions (probably SS only)? Those are indicators for jack points, they are located behind each front wheel...use those.

How do you place the jack stands in the rear notch points when the jack needed to lift the car is in the way ???
