i live in connecticut and it snowed alotttttt this year, anyways normally when it snowed i used my moms pathfinder to get to work. other days i used my car when it wasnt snowing.
on superbowl sunday i went to by dads friends house and the begining of his drive way has like a little hill then it flattens out. the begining was allllllll ice our cars suck in the snow lol. so i couldnt get up the drive way and backed it out and floored it up the drive way got up thank god. a lady told me i had something hanging so i thought it was nothing.
later on it was a nice day and i was in third and floored it nls into forth and stoped and noticed my car had very little boost(note this was two weeks after the driveway) i hear air coming out of the intercooler i could hear it. didnt have the money at the time to buy a new one and oooooo the ******* dealer said they wont fix it so like a month later i brought it down to a turbo shop and they put a chemical substance that covered the whole and it seemed good untilllllllllllllll i took a nice trip that turned to hell to ny,ny. after i put on my downpipe car was soooo much faster so mabey the downpipe added boost or more air flow idk and i floored through a tunnel we all do downpipe sounds sick and normally there is a pop cause the downpipe but this one was like a gun shot lol and i was sure it was my boost tubing. had no boost in ny traffic omfg pissed!!!!!!!!!!!! that was on the way there. parked the car to were we were going and boost tubing seemed fine checked the intercooler and that substance broke open. by the way it took four hours to get home should only take two. what should i do i dont want to get it fixed again more boost with tune in the future = break again. should i buy a new one or have them build me a new one if i should buy a new one which one is theeeeee best i dont want cheap ****

Common problem, get metal charge tubes, manybe an intercooler also being yours is damaged...

Many have had this same problem, and most dealers wont fix it.

well its pretty hard to read when you connect your story of the problem to you having fun and then your question

either way GM should cover it simple as that, if they cant prove it was you that did it then they have to fix it

 

just buy the synapse intercooler and charge piping = problem solved!!

If I had an LNF with that problem I would probably go with the Hanh pipping. But... if it keeps exploding, what reason would the dealer have too not replace the intercooler. It's not like they could say "it's the down pipe"?
