LNF timing chain, water pump, etc...

Does anyone know what parts are needed when doing a timing belt and water pump on the lnf? My mechanic said I need to get a balancer or something. Isnt there a kit I could buy with all the parts. Looked on CED and found the lnf timing set but I dont know if thats all I need. Any help guys?

So all together from CED it would come to $700 (timing chain kit and water pump). Kinda high imo

Not really, timing chains last 100k+ normally and the same with a water pump it cost 0.007 per mile driven. At least we don't have to change them every 60k like Audi and VW timing belts

fyi when i had my first car, a 1950 two door Ford flathead V8 a loooong time ago, I broke many transmissions. I purchased new ones, (at the wrecking yard) and put them in. After about five transmissions, I learned to shift and all was good. I never complained about the car. I was beating the crap out of it, and knew the answers. It wasnt the manufacturer. It was me, beating on it.

Yes I beat on it a little. No complaints from me on the manufacturing. However I do know how to shift and blame myself for whatever happens to my car. I was only complaining about the price. But seems I cant find it cheaper anyway.
