Loud clicking/tapping noise under dash...
First of all, the search on here Sucks
Now, I have a 2006 2.2 auto. When I turn the key on there is a loud tapping or clicking noise under the passenger side dash. It lasts for about 5 seconds. It happens every time I turn the key on, but not when I turn it off. I put my hand on the blower motor and can feel it on there. So I unplugged the motor but it still does it.
I started to tear the dash apart but figured I'd ask here first if anyone has had this problem. I'm kinda thinking blend door motor/actuator. But I don't know what's up in there.
Any ideas of what to look for.
Thanks

Ok the search doesn't suck, I do
I was searching advanced search in the gallery instead of the forums
After some more digging around in my car I see where the problem is. It is the actuator for the recirculate door. It's located above the cabin filter. It looks like the way to get at it is from the top. Any one ever take the top dash apart?
