Low coolant?

I know ive seen posts about people having low coolant warning lights. But from what i hear is that is only from a cold start. But I seem to get it at random times, even when Im driving. can anyone tell me whats going on

i would get the warning at a cold start... finally, i got sick of it and added a little of the old dexcool to the reservoir. Haven't had it since, engine still runs at 180-189F... Life is good.

I would think that your level is right above the sensor and when you are driving the coolant splashes around and the sensor is exposed then it isn't, hence why it comes in and out.

Just add a little more coolant and you should be fine.
