This.

The CPS housing should slide right in to the hex on the exhaust cam if the car is properly timed/lined up.

Make sure the mark on the crank pulley is lined up with the mark on the front cover.

cam gears will be as follows: intake 2 o clock exhaust 10 o clock.

The mark is on the outside of the front cover (timing cover). You need to rotate the crank pulley to line up with it.

There is a notch on the back side of the crank pulley. Line the notch with the mark on the front cover as seen in the first image i posted.

The cam gears should be in line the way I have them shown in the 2nd image.

Follow the image mrbelvedre posted and my 3rd photo for the cps housing to align it correctly. Should slide right into the exhaust cam hex w/o issue.

take the spark plug out put a compression tester in #4 cylinder rotate the engine by hand till it builds compression you can then either line up the marks on the front cover or put a long screwdriver down #1 and rotate the engine till the screwdriver stops going up then install the cps housing this stuff is not hard take it to a shop if need be

shove a paper towel in there, when you hear a hissing or the paper towel comes out shove a screw driver in there and rotate slowly until it hits its top range, then shove the cam thingy in. Simple enough? Done it twice now, first time took me 20 minutes

Guys this isnt hard. TDC center and the engine in time will be as I decribed in my photos a few posts up.

Timing mark lined up on pulley and front cover. Intake cam gear at 2 o clock and exhaust at 10 o clock.

Piston #1 & #4 will be up, piston #2 & #3 will be down. Check with a screw driver.
