mist setting on wipers

sometimes, not always, the mist setting on my wipers acts up... now, with only 4k left on my bumper to bumper, i'm getting tired of being told.... "it seems to work okay"

any ideas?

Keep the documentation from where you have been to the dealer with this complaint and if you have problems after the warranty just show them the document history showing that this has been an ongoing problem. They will more than likely take care of it for you under what is called a goodwill policy.

On mine, sometimes they work perfectly. Other times at random, they get stuck 1/4 way up, then continue the rest of the cycle, only to repeat on next.

that's a good suggestion, although, i'd rather that it just be fixed, lol.

yeah getting it fixed would be best but they can't replace it if they can't duplicate the problem. At least this way you know you won't have to come out of pocket even of your warranty runs out.

Most likely need a new wiper control arm on the steering column.
