so ive had my 09 SS lnf since 2014. never really gave me any issues until recently. I was driving down to the gas station one day and I let off the accelerator. I heard a weird pop kind of like it backfired but not exactly. next thing I know it was throwing codes saying there was MAF, and misfiring in cylinders 3 & 4. so I changed out my coil packs, spark plugs, and MAF. I also noticed that my intake side charge pipe had popped off the manifold. I managed to get it re attached. now the car bogs down on acceleration and keeps triggering the MAF code and sending the car into limp mode causing a lot of backfiring at low RPMs. I really don't know where to go from here. I'm trying to see if anyone has dealt with this in the past before I take her into a dealership and get raped by the high ass labor rates. any help is greatly appreciated.

 

Do you have stock intercooler and piping?

Do a boost leak test and verify there are no additional leaks
