mysterious fluid?

Ok I was cruising along the other day, when I looked down and noticed there were a few drops of some kind of liquid right under the radio housing close to the front cigarette lighter.. I put my finger in it and smelled it, and it smelled super sweet, like candy or something,

I know I didn't spill anything there, cuz I just detailed my car a few hours before...

anyway the cubby place where this liquid **** was accumulating was filling up... by the time I got home the whole bottom was full of this stuff... I'm wondering what the hell it is cuz it was kinda freaking me out...

it's as if my radio was leaking or something lol.

hmmm.... AC system is known to leak into the passenger cabin, at least the condensation, which would be pure water. But.... freon/r134 smells really good.

Yeah I thought it was condensation at first... but it smelled almost like cotton candy or something super sweet...

I think it's done this one time before too, but I thought I spilled something so didn't think much of it.

The only thing I can think of would be you have a pin hole in your heater core or hose going to it and is shooting up into the dash and coming out where you are seeing it.
Touch the end of your tounge to it and if it has a sweet taste then it is coolant and you have a leak.

Hmmm... I don't know this is the first time it's happened to me, and this took place about a week ago, so if something was leaking it would do it more frequently...I would think...I don't know I just hope my **** isn't broken lol.

Oh I forgot to add, when this **** dried it hardened kinda like when you spill coke or something... it got real sticky... but I know I didn't spill anything cuz like I said I just detailed the car before that...
