There are a few other sensors that can cause you to throw that code if they are failing, because there on the same monitoring circut.
But could be a bad connection that can cause this as well.(corrosion, water in connector etc)

Fuel tank pressure sensor(Start here if you want to try fix it checking and cleaning the connectors.)

• The camshaft position (CMP) sensor

• The barometric pressure (BARO) sensor

• The manifold absolute pressure (MAP) sensor

• The supercharger inlet pressure (SCIP) sensor

• The accelerator pedal position (APP) sensor

• The throttle position (TP) sensor

• The A/C pressure sensor
Bring it in and let them fix it under warranty ,these types of problems take sometime to trouble shoot.

I know your car will throw a CEL if the gas cap isnt tightened properly. open it, then close it, let it click 3-4 times. see if it turns off. if it doesnt, disconnect the battery, wait 15min, reconnect. see if it comes back on.

As for the wheel shaking, your rotors are warped.

ya i have the same problem with the steering wheel, but mines a LS, i hate it.. and my codes always come on..if you have a local valvoline oil changing place around you "witch is were i work"...they have a code breaker you plug in, that's what i always use..like my airbag light comes on and **** bc i got new seats..so i took all the codes off with that tool and don't have a problem since!

oh and is there away to reset you stuff from in the car?..i was always wondering that and never could find out

The code you are setting is for the evap emissions system. The fuel tank pressure sensor measures the pressure/vacuum in the evap system and uses it to determine if there is a evap leak, blockage ect. The sensor is located on top of the tank. The code you are setting has to do with the signal voltage. The circuit is a 3-wire circuit. 5-volt reference, ground, and signal. Your particular code states that the voltage on the signal circuit is low for a predetermined time. You could have a short on the 5v ref, open/short on the signal circuit, bad sensor, poor connection, ect. If there is a issue with the circuit, clearing the code will not fix the problem. It is a continuously monitored type-b code. Seeing that it was sitting for 2 months, it could be rodent damage.
As far as the steering wheel shaking, either the rotors are warped, or have heavy corrosion(rust). Or it could be the tires are flat spotted from sitting.(unlikely. Usually driving about 10 miles will clear that up)
Take it in for warranty.
Tom
