Hi Everyone,

I'm new here and this may have been posted already but I didn't see it so sorry if I'm reposting a thread. Anyways, here is the deal. I just recently bought 9007 10K HID bulbs from a site called motor fiend.com. I upgraded to the slim ballasts just because I thought they would fit better tucked under the headlights. My issue is with the turning cap that goes over the bulb. The top of the bulb where the wires are located is too big for the cap to fit over and lock the bulb in place. Does anyone know a fix for this? If I cut the middle circle out of the cap will it still lock over the bulb or will it be loose?

That huge extra part should come off... I've never seen them look like that

 

They sent me the wrong bulbs haha. No wonder. The bulbs I have are 9004's. Thanks for all the help guys.

 

If I'm not mistaken, TRS sells the caps that go in the back
