need help with interceptor gauge

So I installed everything and was just using the obdII port and the gauge powered up but wasnt run off the ignition so the gauge would stay on, so i tapped into the pink wire. When i started the car everything worked but when i turned the car off to see if the gauge would turn off, the car stayed on. I could take the key out and the car stayed on. When i disconnected the red power wire from the spliced pink wire i could turn the car off. So i need help wiring this to the ignition because i dont wanna have to unplug the gauge from the obdII to turn it off.

what year is your car? that matters in how you have to wire it.

The LNF shouldn't need a wire run to it, you should be able to start it up and the gauge starts about 10 second after.

Also if you do run a power wire to it you'll need to remove the red jumper, and it should shut off when you turn the car off.

if you have an lnf it should be "can" gauges which require not external power as it gets the power from the obd II port. The LSJ uses the PT set of gauges which require external power.
