need help maf

You may have used the wrong type of cleaner......a lot of maf cleaners are NOT plastic safe and should not be used on our cars......The maf wires as you could call them on the inside of the sensor have a clear coat of sorts on them.....the wrong type of cleaner will destroy this clear coat and basically ruin the maf sensor.......i know here in canada a standard can of maf cleaner goes for about $8-$9.......the plastic safe stuff is around $24 a can so that might tell you if you have used the wrong cleaner.......just my 2 cents........Later

Check all your connections you made and make sure they are good.
If you spliced into any wire which ones and what color might help to figure out what is going on.
