Need help on water pump
So i have to change my water pump on my 2006 Cobalt SS/SC and i wanted to make sure i have everything i need for the job.
I bought:
Water pump tool
Water pump(came with 2 gaskets)
Coolant
My friend thinks i need another gasket for the hose that connects to the water pump. Has anyone replaced their water pump in their cars and can tell me if i have everything i need.
And if anyone has tips on how to do it, it would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

There's an oring that connects the crossover pipe to the water pump. Wouldn't hurt to replace it. I would
I heat stories of people havinfnto reset the water pump timing chain tensioner after replacing the eater pump due to the holding tool slipping. So watch out for that.
