I have been having issues with my tune on my Df goblin ever since I superchargered it a year ago. Afr was around 9.5 at wot and idle would bounce around from 14.4 -16.8
I bought a new ac delco 213-4222 maf for it recently and it dies immediately after starting. I get no obd2 codes before it dies. I plug in the chinese maf from o'reilly's and it goes back to how it was. The sensor was bought on amazon and looks genuine. There is 9 inches between the filter and the front of the maf with a 30 degree angle and 8 inches to the back of the maf to the tv with a 45 degree angle. Throttle body is new but it acted the same with the old one. Coils, plugs, upstream o2, map, fuel filter injectors, pump, caps and o rings are all newer. I have tested fuel pressure before and it was good. Have smoke tested for leaks but can't find any. The regulator for the machine only puts out like 4 psi so I wonder if it didn't have time to fill up quick enough. No exhaust leaks from what I can tell pre o2 or the wideband. The wideband is 25-30 inches from the block. The supercharger bpv appears the be working fine and has lower miles on it. Any ideas on what I should do?

 

There's a huge Chinese knock-off scam going on with Amazon and eBay parts that APPEAR legit - but actually aren't. I posted about it in someone else's thread too. They're copying the boxes and labels nearly perfectly. Not saying yours is a knock-off... but it's a possibility. Especially if it was the best possible price for an ACDelco part. As an FYI, Rock Auto tends to have really good ACDelco prices, and they offer a forum discount.

What's the base engine/ECU that you have and can you read data (MAF MHz)?

 

I really hope it's a fake one then cause I am perplexed. Anyone know based on the markings on the maf? What is the discount code for the forum discount for rockauto.com? The engine is a 2.4 le5 with a 08 pcm. I have hp tuners but it's going to be crappy weather for the near future here. With the o'reilly's maf on the engine will die if I unplug it in a few seconds.
