New One! Brake system failure...

Okay. So I decided to paint my calipers last week. I wanted to take them all completely off to clean them well. I took off the driver rear brake hose and then attempted to take off the mounting bolts, which I could not brake free at all, nor the passenger rear (I had not taken the hose off the passenger rear, 1 less wheel to bleed). I was able to take both front calipers off. I cleaned them, painted them, and put them back on.

With the help of my brother, a GM Tech, we attempted to bleed the system. We got pressure in the driver front and passenger rear. When attempting to do the other brakes we could not get pressure at all. Trying with a vaccum pump didnt work either. We tried bleeding from the master cyclinder, that didnt work either. My brother said we were gonnna have to take it to the shop because its going to need an ABS Automated Bleed, which can only be done with a Tech2.

Sunday night - took car to shop
Monday - were not able to get car in, packed schedule
Tuesday - Manuel & ABS Automated bleed (didnt work)
Wednesday - Troubleshooting, needs Master Cyclinder
Thursday - Order master cyclinder from Lansing, MI.
Friday - Master Cyclinder install (didnt work), now it needs an ABS system...
Next Monday - Install of ABS system...well see....but I doubt it

*No sensors were touched during removal or reinstall of calipers.

Does anybody else but me think they are looking way to far into the problem??
or
Has anybody heard of this problem before?

That is very strange. I would have agree that it is the ABS module however, because it is the only part of the system that could prevent pressure from flowing to individual wheels.

well my problem was solved...after a new abs unit, 2 master cyclinders, and lots and lots of bleeds....I was the problem, when I put my calipers back on I had the driver and passenger sides reversed LOL, and it took the dealership a 1 1/2 weeks to figure that out
