06SS ALL DAY

I installed a brand new TB yesterday, unplugged the battery etc.. installed it, plugged battery back in. i expected the sensors to be a little weird wit the new part. i drove approx. 120 miles already and i'm still having severe throttle hang. even on the decel... also my idle is jumping around if im sitting for more than 20 seconds. it'll go up to 1100 rpm down to 600 rpm. than level itself back out and repeat in 20 seconds... what gives?

Throttle Body Assembly Replacement
Removal Procedure

Notice: Do not use solvent of any type when cleaning the gasket surfaces on the intake manifold and the throttle body assembly, as damage to the gasket surfaces and throttle body assembly may result.
Use care in cleaning the gasket surfaces on the intake manifold and the throttle body assembly, as sharp tools may damage the gasket surfaces.

Notice: Do not use any solvent that contains Methyl Ethyl Ketone (MEK). This solvent may damage fuel system components.


1. Remove the air cleaner outlet duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Outlet Resonator Replacement .
2. Disconnect the evaporative emission (EVAP) purge line.
3. Disconnect the throttle body control harness connector.
4. Remove the throttle body attaching bolts .

Installation Procedure

1. Inspect the throttle body gasket and replace if necessary.
2. Install the throttle body to the supercharger.
3. Install the throttle body attaching bolts .

Tighten
Tighten the throttle body attaching bolts to 10 Nˇm (89 lb in).
4. Connect the throttle body control harness connector .
5. Connect the EVAP purge line.
6. Install the air cleaner outlet duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Outlet Resonator Replacement .
