The only time I have really seen this issue is if an angled o2 bung isn't installed. The way I've worked around it is either weld an o2 bung slightly further up in the stream, or install a weldless o2 bung further up. Either way, unless you have the downstream o2 codes disabled, you are basically guaranteed to throw a code at that point.

I believe I had that problem when I was installing mine. Basically have to go down the line and free up and re route the sensor until you get it where it needs to be. I believe it was still a stretch. Then just make sure the wires are back by the shield.

You should take some measurements and contacts zzP it could have been a mistake the bung could just be in the wrong place

Mehh not so much on the LNF from the ones I've dealt with at least. If I remember correctly he MIGHT be able to get it to just reach if the clip on the motor mount that holds the wire is removed, but even then it's a bit sketchy. That's a good way to snap the wires when the engine torques.

^^This. I'm sure they'll have no issue with swapping out the pipe for you with one that has an extended o2 bung.
