No battery power to anything 08 LNF

Hello,

I just did a major overhaul on my vehicle. not I didnt really mess with anything electrical outside of popping off the fuse carrier to remove the transmission. After getting it all back together. I go to put the battery back in and I have no lights no nothing. I believe I heard the door chime but nothing after. Research suggest looking into the BCM which I am going to do after leaving this. But in case its not that any suggestions??

So looked through all the BCM and the fuse box within the engine bay. Still nothing, no fuse blown no nothing. I guess I will hav to look for a misplaced ground. However, I never touched one that I know of... I ******* hate this 5 days of work gone to **** because of some electrical problem.

It's possible you shorted something unknowingly and blew the fuse. Even if you removed the battery cable when you started (I really really hope you did that) it doesn't hurt to check.

Also, I'm pretty sure you'd have had to remove at least one ground to remove the transmission.

This. If you stored the battery on cold concrete it could be dead. Heck, even if it was in the car it could be dead.

Don't know about the lnf but the lsj has a 30 jcase fuse for power. Also if you have a dmm or test light you should check to see if you've got power to the fuse box to rule that out.

This was true of old batteries from before our time. Ive had brand new batteries sit on the floor for more than a few days without issues.

Pretty sure it's not recommended. I'm not saying you won't get away with it but an older weak battery might not be.

My car sat at the dealership for 2-3 weeks and that killed the battery. Completely dead. Jerks.

Work in a body shop. It's amazing how poor some batteries are. 30 mins with the door open and the car won't start.
