No Fan Operation on 1-4

Ok,
This is a weird question and I checked the forums and didn't see anything with this issue but last night I noticed that my heater( blower switch) doesn't work from 1-4, but works on 5(the max). I checked the fuses and all seems fine.

Has anyone else had this issue, someone told me it can be a relay..

Please advise.

its under the dash, pass side. right next to the blower itselft. on my cavy it was held in with 2 torx screws. im not sure on the Balts, but its typically simple to replace. the resistor for my cavy was like $33

ok, called every autopart store here in iowa and no one has them in stock except autozone for 52.00. Bought it with a lifetime warranty. went home and replaced it and walla, it was fixed... 2 days later dame resistor gave way again.. Is this just because its a bad resistor or is somethg else making it go.

It's an issue with our cars. GM has some sort of bad ground somewhere, good thing you go the lifetime
